great t-shirt. oh, and there more "breaking news" shirts here.
personally, i want one of these to use as a duster for my computer table.
WILL: "Okay, I've searched "equinox" and "egg," and the news isn't good for the believers."
C.J.: "What sites did they send you to?"
WILL: "ThingsThatAreWrong.com."
C.J.: "There are no web sites supporting it?"
WILL: "No."
TOBY: "And you've got to ask yourself, if no one on the internet wants a piece of this, just how far from the pack have you strayed?"

In the 80's, McCain voted against MLK Day as a holiday. Not a big surprise right? But now, he no longer thinks this...kinda like his position on torture and tax cuts except sans all that bigotry. Anyways, he decided to talk about this in a speech on the 40th anniversary of Dr. King's death. In Memphis. Outside the hotel Dr. was shot at. In the pouring rain. Really bad idea. He gets deservedly booed:
and what's with all the umbrellas, ellas, ellas, eh, eh, eh? damn you, Rihanna.
Today he told reporters that Iran was training al Qaeda fighters and sending them into Iraq. This is hilarious because of course Iran is Shiite and al Qaeda is Sunni, so they hate each other.
Pressed to elaborate, McCain said it was "common knowledge and has been reported in the media that al-Qaeda is going back into Iran and receiving training and are coming back into Iraq from Iran, that's well known. And it's unfortunate."Joe Lieberman quickly intervened, suggesting that Iran is training Shiite extremists and sending them into Iraq. So there you have it, old foreign policy wonk and most-credible-war-on-terror-guy McCain can't remember which religious sect aligns with which ancient hatred, because he is senile.

in a "conversation" with john mccain, the big talking head did most of the talking, o'liely dropped this precious soundbite on what he thinks the left wants to do via immigration:Do you understand...what The New York Times wants and the far-left want? They want to breakdown the white Christian male power structure of which you are a part, and so am I. And they want to bring in millions of foreign nationals to basically breakdown the structure that we have. In that regard, Pat Buchanan is right. So I say that you've got to cap it with a number.
we all remember when darth cheney told sen. pat leahy (d-vt) to go fuck himself...ahhh, fuzzy senate memories...but john mccain has tried to one-up the dark lord by telling off a fellow republican on the senate floor. during the immigration bill debate, mccain said "fuck you! i know more about this than anyone else in the room" to sen. john cornyn (r-tx) during a heated exchange.
for those who were terribly afraid that the republican-Star Wars analogies were limited to darth, i mean, dick cheney, the LA Times is here to let us know that it's john mccain who's the real darth vader of the republican party. on that note, can i nominate denny hastert as jabba the hut?
