hucabee pulls a rick "man-on-dog" santorum

just when you thought the national political arena was safe from more gay marriage is like bestiality analogies, along comes mike huckabee:
"Well, I don’t think that’s a radical view to say we’re going to affirm marriage. I think the radical view is to say that we’re going to change the definition of marriage so that it can mean two men, two women, a man and three women, a man and a child, a man and animal. Again, once we change the definition, the door is open to change it again. I think the radical position is to make a change in what’s been historic."

this from a guy whose kid hung a stray dog, ya know, to death...maybe he should worry about that kind of man on animal action and the family value of teaching your kid not to kill dogs.

mitt romney hates puppies

forget the fact that he can't go one week without changing his mind on some issue, he does stand firmly on one issues: his hatred of puppies.  on a family vacation drive in 1983, the following happened:

"Before beginning the drive, Mitt Romney put Seamus, the family’s hulking Irish setter, in a dog carrier and attached it to the station wagon’s roof rack …. Tagg Romney commandeered the way-back of the wagon, keeping his eyes fixed out the rear window, where he glimpsed the first sign of trouble. ”Dad!” he yelled. ”Gross!” A brown liquid was dripping down the back window, payback from an Irish setter who’d been riding on the roof in the wind for hours."

who sticks their dog in a cage on the roof of their car?  this can only mean one thing...i will now be forced to refer to him as mitt griswold.

how not to teach your dog to "sic him!"

The Portuguese newspaper Diário de Notícias reported yesterday that a man bit a police officer following an argument over a "dangerous dog".

The 35-year-old man was walking his Pit Bull Terrier in Cova da Moura on Sunday, 10:15 am, when two police officers stopped him for not having a harness and muzzle on his dog.

The man refused to identify himself and proceeded to threaten the officers with his dog, turning the animal loose upon them. The dog ran away.

The police officers then attempted to subdue the man who fought back, breaking one officer's finger and biting the other on the wrist. Both officers were treated at Amadora-Sintra Hospital, reports the Metropolitan Command Police.

The man, who was arraigned in the Criminal Court of Lisbon yesterday, has been placed under house arrest while police continue to search for the missing pooch.
